Kale is known to be the ultimate healthy green vegetable. It is abundant in essential nutrients, such as vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, K, as well as manganese, calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphor and beta-Carotene. It is also rich in antioxidants and is a great source of vitamin C. Believe it or not, it contains about 4.5 times more vitamin C than spinach!

As if all its nutritional benefits weren’t enough to prove the fact that it is such an exceptional veggie, kale is also very low in calories (about 33 calories for 70g of kale). It’s difficult to understand why kale is not so popular in Europe yet!
